The cool 2011 vintage in no way diminished the power of this Pinot. An exotic taste of black cherry is full-bodied in the mouth, yet supported by admirable acidity. With back layers of mushroom and earth, the wine becomes more expansive and expressive over time, suggesting a decant or lie down of several years.
