Malbec isn't a common choice for carbonic fermentation, but it shows unique character in this bottling. Aromas of dark plum, crushed berry and turned soil make for a brooding nose. The palate is tremendously firm and grippy yet still playful with fresh black-plum flavors. Matt Kettmann
