Black cherry notes on the nose have subtle overtones of dark peony and edges of cinnamon. The palate adds a pure note of ripe blueberry on a rather silky, streamlined body that has tone but also curve. There is an inherent, pervasive freshness that brightens every atom of this darkly brooding fruit. Drink by 2040. Anne Krebiehl MW
