Dourthe 2017 Château de Ricaud (Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux)

This Merlot-dominant wine with a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot has an earthy, aromatic side. The structure is probably too firm and dry for the wine's own good. While it will soften, it will likely remain tannic. Roger Voss
