Sourced from the eastern edge of the Willamette Valley, an area known locally as Pete's Mountain, this lovely pale copper-colored wine brings flavors of strawberry fruit, with highlights of wintergreen and juicy fruit gum. The balancing acidity adds a kiss of citrus, and whole-cluster pressing ups the tannins a bit. Paul Gregutt
