Dr. Bürklin-Wolf 2002 Wachenheimer Rechbächel Qualitätswein Trocken Riesling (Pfalz)

This is a big, broad-shouldered Riesling that for all its size stays soft and friendly in the middle. Smoky, leesy aromas give way to flavors of mineral oil ladled over spiced pears. There's a sense of custardy richness that lingers on the finish. Joe Czerwinski
