Dr. Konstantin Frank's Rkatsiteli is usually the benchmark in New York State for this increasingly successful grape variety. The 2013 bottling is a bit of a disappointment, dominated by notes of canned cream corn and savory apple and pear instead of the fresh, pristine stone fruit of past years. It's dry and crisp and finishes briskly.
