Drew 2007 Weir Vineyard Pinot Noir (Yorkville Highlands)

Pinots from this vineyard, which is between the Anderson and Alexander valleys, always seem earthy and tannic in youth, and so it is with this bottling. With oak-inspired cherry, cola, tobacco and spice flavors, it could develop bottle complexity in 4–6 years.
