Drink Washington State 2019 Enjoy Walla Walla Carménère (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

The variety immediately identifies itself, with notes of green and jalapeño pepper, along with fresh herb, cherry and flower. Tangerine peel and other citrus flavors follow. The tannins have a slightly gritty feel. It's enjoyable, though the fruit doesn't seem to have fully ripened at times. Sean P. Sullivan
