Dry Creek Vineyard 2001 Reserve Fumé Blanc (Dry Creek Valley)

Thick and custardy in texture, thanks to barrel aging and lees contact that have imparted a soft plumpness to the wine. Starting with ripe fruit doesn't hurt either, adding figs and melons to the mix, while 6% Viognier adds an intriguing floral note to the aromatics.
