Dry Creek Vineyard 2004 Heritage Zinfandel (Sonoma County)

. Lots to like in this slightly rustic red, which has some Petite Sirah. It's authentic old-style Sonoma Zin, very dry, lusty in tannins, and fruity, with a coffee and tobacco undertone to the cherries and blackberries. Practically begs for lamb chops or bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp.
