Dry Creek Vineyard 2019 Historic Blocks Zinfandel (Dry Creek Valley)

Sweet, ripe fruit aromas and sleek berry flavors hint at oak spices without overdoing it and combine for a complex, full-flavored expression backed by rather light tannins. Including 10% Petite Sirah and 9% Alicante Bouschet, the wine is nicely balanced for mid-term aging, too. Best through 2030. Jim Gordon
