Drytown 2013 Viognier (Sierra Foothills)

Here's a no-nonsense wine with fresh fruit aromas, ripe but not overripe flavors, good acidity to keep it tangy and a smooth but firm texture that is appetizing. It tastes like white peaches with a splash of orange, then brings in toasted almonds on the finish. Jim Gordon
