Duncan Taylor & Co., Ltd. Macallan 1968 Cask 5585 Speyside Single Malt Whisky

The heady aroma is dominated at first by the piquant spirit, followed by aromas of toffee, unsalted butter and pear drops. Palate entry features an intensely oily, minty flavor; by midpalate, the flavor returns to the oak/malt core while a light creaminess mitigates some of the oiliness. Finishes semisweet, viscous and spirity. P.P.
