Dunham 1999 Lewis Vineyard Syrah (Columbia Valley (WA))

Cellar Selection

Reviewers loved the Dunham's bouquet—especially its "gobs of fleshy blackberry fruit," toasty oak, and "sugar- cookie" elements. A blackberry, blueberry, white pepper and toasty-vanilla palate and a medium-weight, velour-textured mouthfeel will please even discerning palates. Finishes with more lush berry fruit and charred oak. Will improve through 2004.
