92pointsDurant 2016 Dove Pinot Noir (Dundee Hills)

The Dove frames its ripe black cherry fruit in skin phenolics and stiff tannins, a measure of its youth and potential longevity. Cropped low in 2016, it saw 44% new French oak, which leaves only a very light impression. Best to give this another couple of years of bottle age and drink after 2020. Paul Gregutt
