Durigutti 2005 Reserva Malbec (Mendoza)

A tiny whiff of alfalfa is about all that stands in the way of excellence. This is very good Malbec with a fit body and a quiet sort of approach. The palate emphasizes nice red fruit, but there's still that touch of grassiness at its core. Not overly ripe or hefty; it's a more restrained style with ample elegance. Michael Schachner
