Durigutti 2016 Victoria Corte de Finca Red (Mendoza)

Linear aromas of plum, currant and licorice root are not overly expansive. A bouncy palate is made dry by coarse tannins, while this blend of Malbec, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Cordisco (Montepulciano) tastes of spicy plum and is snappy in its attack. Toasty oak controls a finish of standard length. Drink through 2024. Michael Schachner
