This is made from 82% Merlot, with the balance Cabernet Franc (14%) and Petit Verdot from Southwind, Stone Tree and Dionysus vineyards. Raspberry compote, fresh flower and barrel spice aromas lead to full-bodied, no-holds-barred fruit flavors that coat the palate from end to end, backed by lightly grainy tannins. The style is ripe and rich, but so is the vintage it comes from. Sean P. Sullivan
