Dusted Valley 2016 BFM Dionysus Vineyard Red (Columbia Valley (WA))

Merlot (82%) takes the lead on this wine, with the rest Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and pinches of Petit Verdot and Malbec. The aromas offer notes of green pepper, dried and fresh herbs, vanilla, tobacco and anise. Full, rich coffee and cherry flavors follow, packing a big punch. Might be a bit too green for some tastes. Give it some additional time in bottle to see it at its best. Sean P. Sullivan
