Dusted Valley 2016 Malbec (Columbia Valley (WA))

Dried herb, coffee, graphite, tomato leaf, sweet barrel spice and cherry aromas lead to fruit and barrel flavors that display a sense of elegance, with the tannins giving a squeeze. Coffee notes linger on the finish. It's tasty, though the variety seems hard to find. Give the tannins some time to settle in. Sean P. Sullivan
