A Cabernet Franc-dominated Bordeaux-style blend, the Queen is not entirely of a piece. The mix of tart fruit, leaf and forest floor flavors is interesting, to be sure, but suggests uneven ripening in the vineyard. Additional notes of red licorice and balanced tannins finish it out. Paul Gregutt
