Dutton Estate 2004 Jewell Block Vineyard Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

You'd never expect such nice flavor from such a lightly colored wine. Nonetheless, this single-vineyard Pinot is fresh and dry in rosehip tea, strawberry and cinnamon spice, with a bracing coat of toasty oak. It's not a blockbuster, but defines elegance.
