This Zinfandel leads with intriguing earthy aromas of fresh forest floor, dewy morning grass and a refreshing salinity. On the palate, vibrant red fruits make their way toward the front. Raspberry, red currant and cherries are touched with notes of chocolate, vanilla and white-pepper spice. The wine shows great integration of flavors and aromas from start to finish, complemented by a firm tannic structure and elegantly interwoven acidity. Enjoyable now, the wine also has aging potential. Stacy Briscoe
