Eberle 2002 Mill Road Vineyard Viognier (Paso Robles)

Firmer and more taut than Eberle's Glenrose Viognier, with a sleek backbone of vibrant acidity. But the wine is no slouch when it comes to flavor, offering up gobs of mango, papaya, pineapple and peach, spiced generously with cinnamon and pepper. A very fine wine, and just shows how good Viognier from Paso Robles can be.
