Eder 2016 Raubern Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

The pear fruit on the nose of this wine is so heady and pristine it almost comes across as candied. It continues on the palate, where it's joined by a fluid and creamy texture, with hints of citrus pith and salt. An intriguing, elegant and taut package. The finish is long and recalls pure lemon zest. Anne Krebiehl MW
