Edna Valley Vineyard 2001 Paragon Chardonnay (Edna Valley)

This is a very dry, austere wine, marked by lemon and lime flavors and brisk, bright acids. It is like a Sauvignon Blanc, with a creamier texture. Fine now with the right foods, but it might even improve with a year or two in the cellar.
