Edna Valley Vineyard 2017 Pinot Noir (Central Coast)

Rich aromas of black cherry, clove, star anise and sagebrush show on the nose of this widely available and generally pleasing bottling. It's very ripe on the palate, where boysenberry, ripe melon and cherry flavors are lifted by baking spice. Matt Kettmann
