Hints of balsamic and forest floor on the nose lend subtle, savory nuances to bristling redcurrant and raspberry on the palate of this wine. A penetrating, richly concentrated red, it's accented by bites of cranberry acidity and ruffles of earth and iodine. Firm in tannins and nervous in youth now, it should hit peak from 2024 through 2036 and hold longer still. Anna Lee C. Iijima
