The Eléni Syrah, sourced from old vines at Red Willow Vineyard, may lay claim to being the best of a very fine lineup. It is a densely fruity wine, with concentrated flavors of raspberry liqueur, set upon a foundation of liquid rock. Focused and precise, it is almost crystalline in its resonant elegance.
