Eichinger 2018 Ried Heiligenstein Riesling (Kamptal)

A restrained note of tangerine appears on the nose but is shy of giving too much away. The palate then hits with immediate concentration that unites notions of wet stone, a salty earthiness, tangy clementine peel and juicy, fleshy Mirabelle plum. There is a lot going on and appears as an energetic, driven bundle of fruit and flavor. This is a complex, ripe, generous package, almost like a genie in a bottle. Drink 2025–2040. Anne Krebiehl MW
