Eight Bells 2021 Red Willow Vineyard Viognier (Yakima Valley)

Barrel fermented, the fruit for this wine comes from old vines in the Chapel Block of this vineyard. The aromas are subdued, with notes of apricot, honeysuckle and peach. Medium-bodied stone fruit flavors follow, leading to a surprisingly tart finish that ups the interest. Sean P. Sullivan
