El Enemigo 2008 Malbec (Mendoza)

Called “The Enemy,” this wine is highly confected and may come across overoaked. The nose is all resin, toast, vanilla and shaved wood. In the mouth, it's creamy despite a streak of acidity, and the flavors are pure milk chocolate and vanilla. Very woody and sweet tasting; seems overly worked and not 100% natural. Michael Schachner
