Elevation Cellars 2013 Jammin' Red (Columbia Valley (WA))

This wine is 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec. The aromas bring notes of fresh garden herbs, hay, cocoa, cherry and dark chocolate. Despite the age, the palate is bunched up and short. It brings surprising acidity given the warmth of the vintage. Sean P. Sullivan
