Élevée Winegrowers 2018 Departure Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

For just the second time, the winery has made a select blend with barrels from its three single-vineyard expressions. Subtly herbal, with pretty red fruits and modest tannins, the proportions are all in sync and carry on through the finish. Three-fifths of the blend came from the Madrona Hill Vineyard, and two-thirds of the barrels were new. Paul Gregutt
