Cocoa, licorice and cardamom spice kick off the rich nose of this bottling, which is layered in dark, extracted fruit aromas of raisin and fig. More fig shows on the palate alongside those barrel influences of clove and allspice, carrying onto a long finish. Matt Kettmann
