Elisir Gambrinus Wine Based Liqueur with Natural Aromatics

Best Buy

The nosing passes discover a curious fig-like bouquet of dried red fruit, browned butter, black truffles and soft spirit. The palate entry is intensely fig-like, but sour enough to maintain a beguiling freshness; the midpalate offers concentrated flavors of prunes, figs, dates and raisins. Finishes moderately sweet, with a dash of bitterness. Unusual but very good. P.P.
