Elk Cove 1998 Pinot Gris (Willamette Valley)

Editors' Choice

Opens with a strong nose of basil. Sweet fruit on the palate. Not typical of the grape, but very good. Would be splendid with tomato, basil and mozzarella salad. Decidedly unusual, but likable. An editors' choice.
