This new vineyard site, on the east side of the Chehalem mountains, has delivered a precisely rendered, spicy wine, with a pleasing mix of leaf, herb, berry and earth flavors. It's cut on the tart, acidic side, but it's neither dull nor simple. Given its balance and texture, it may well age for another decade or more.
