This is a tasty, fruity, appealing bottle of Pinot Noir. Strawberries and cherries rule the midpalate; the tannins are ripe and the barrels bring in some chocolate through the finish. It's not the most complex of Elk Cove's offerings, but a nice bottle for near-term enjoyment.
