Elouan 2018 Pinot Noir (Oregon)

The label speaks of sourcing from “prime vineyards on Oregon's coast” though no such vineyards exist, the coast being subject to ocean-driven storms and weather. It's almost jet-black in color, light in flavor, with suggestions of black cherries, new mowed grass, and plenty of tobacco and vanilla. Paul Gregutt
