This stout is brewed with pumpkin, with pumpkin seeds and cinnamon added, for an interesting take on a pumpkin beer. Notes of baking spice, cocoa powder, caramel malt and caramelized pumpkin are at the fore of the nose and mouth, making this drink like a delicious, very browned pumpkin pie that's accented by hints of chocolate. Medium carbonation and abundant sweet-spice flavors keep the palate fresh and lifted through the close, with a lingering roasted-pumpkin flavor that's framed by a light, char-like bitterness.
