Emile Beyer 2009 Cuvée de l'Hostellerie Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Beyer's winery is situated in a 16th-century coaching inn, hence the name of this range of wines. This Pinot Gris has power and intensity, showing very ripe tropical fruits and some acidity. There is a definite sweet, spicy edge here. Roger Voss
