Emile Beyer 2016 Eichberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

Zesty notes of tangerine are met with earthier hints of russet pear peel on the open appetizing nose. The palate shines with even brighter citrus appeal—think tangerine and tart blood orange with a wonderfully vivid lemon streak. This is linear and concentrated, utterly refreshing and lively. The finish is dry, long and beautifully invigorating. Drink 2017–2030. Anne Krebiehl MW
