Emile Beyer 2016 Pfersigberg Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

A wonderfully aromatic hit of citrus foliage, Seville orange zest and blood orange assails the nose. The mouthfeel is concentrated and adds some pleasantly bitter, earthy citrus pith. This is linear and taut and provides utter refreshment. What a gorgeous, enlivening wine. The finish is taut, citric and dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
