Emile Beyer 2017 Lieu-dit Saint Jacques Riesling (Alsace)

Subtle aromas of apple, peach and lemon shimmer on the nose of this wine where a zesty lift enhances the citrus element. The palate is rounder and creamier than the nose suggests, putting mellow Golden and Red Delicious apple center stage. A hint of maple syrup spice on those apple notes makes the wine rounder. The finish is taut, fresh and dry. Anne Krebiehl MW
