Ripe smoky aromas are oaky and full, with rooty sweetness and some heat. High acidity creates core intensity, and overall this feels more punchy and acidic than in prior years. Woody spicy peppery flavors of plum and currant finish fresh and ripped, with residual oak, spice, herb and plum flavors. Drink through 2028. Michael Schachner
