Jammy blueberry and prune aromas are ripe but a bit dull and rudimentary. Plump, chunky, jammy and tannic across the palate, this tastes like mashed blackberry and molasses. A finish that's warm and chubby but also tannic as rocks lacks some elegance and precision. Drink 2018–2030.
