Emma M. Louise 2017 Vieilles Vignes Red (Rasteau)

Heady notes of roasted plum and charred clove introduce this blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (35%) and Mourvèdre (15%). It's a concentrated wine muted by shades of smoked meat and earth, with lingering accents of cinnamon and cocoa powder. The finish falls warmly on fine-grained, chalky tannins. Best now–2025.
