Emmerich Knoll 2017 Ried Kellerberg Smaragd Riesling (Wachau)

Cellar Selection

Mirabelle plum and peach notes are welcoming and bold, spelling juicy ripeness. Underneath that lush fruit is immense concentration, a linear salt note and vivid, citric freshness, informed by some herbal spice. For now, this is lushly fruited, but it can rely on inherent freshness and energetic drive. Yes, there is generosity, but also tone, muscle and stony depth. Drink 2025-2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
